All cut up!

I made chocolate chip muffins today but as I made them recently and posted about them then it would be a bit boring to share about those again.  You can read about them here if you are interested.  Instead I think you should liven up your taste buds and check out the delicious recipe here - just a little something different for a change.  :-D

Okay, now that you have whet your appetite for something tasty..............I can't say I have much for you.  the only really exciting tidbit I have is nothing to do with sewing but i am going to share it with you anyway coz I love it no one else in my family is the least bit impressed - must be something to do with the fact that they are all male!  I bought myself a new phone cover today - my first ever visit to the Apple Store.  Not saying I am going to make a habit of going there but I enjoyed it today.  They had the best range of accessories and I thought it was time for a new phone cover and look - read the fine print - it is a Kate Spade design.
 Mmmm, yum!  Love those colours.

No sewing today.  Lots and lots of cutting and lots and lots of errands.  Post office to post off the Upcycled Star quilt to Queensland and its new home, a haircut, music shops for drum pedal repair, the shopping mall and more errands.  Oh so much fun!  NOT!   But in what spare time I did have I did lots of cutting out - lots of laundry bags for Aussie Heroes - more cool colours!!!
And for Cherry Red time, more potholders.  I had pin wheels done but needed batting and binding and hangers.  This pile is now ready to sew!
This pile is still waiting bits - batting, backings, bindings.........
I have got some of the batting cut and more to go but at least I have some ready for tomorrow night's sewing!

It has been a busy day and tomorrow is another one.  A breakfast introduction to Fly Boy's School - oh boy!  I just can't wait to leave home early, hoping that my boys can get themselves out the door and to the buses by themselves AND LOCK THE DOOR rather than fighting over locking the door, catch the bus and get to school - yes, I know they are in Year 11........try living with them.  Hopefully all will go well as I have a Aussie Heroes sewing day tomorrow and I really don't want to have to drive the little darlings in different directions to two schools!  Wish me luck and now I am off to bed!

Till next time.............happy stitching!
